The project is being implemented by KMG in partnership with LanzaJet, which serves as the key technology provider. The future plant for the production of sustainable aviation fuel, based on the American Alcohol-to-jet technology of its kind in Central Asia.
The city of Rudniy in the Kostanay Region is being considered as the construction site. The plant’s preliminary production capacity is estimated at 54,000 tonnes of aviation fuel per year.
The implementation of the project will strengthen Kazakhstan’s role as a major international transit aviation hub and enhance the country’s position in the global air transportation market.
