The fleet of specialized equipment of KMG-Aero LLP (a subsidiary of KazMunayGas) at Aktobe International Airport has been expanded with a new state-of-the-art aircraft refuelling vehicle with a capacity of approximately 28,000 liters.
In line with the instructions of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kazakhstan’s regional airport infrastructure is being modernized to transform the country’s airports into full-fledged international aviation hub. This initiative will also support the development of fuel infrastructure, thereby contributing to the attraction of new airlines.
The specialized refuelling vehicle was manufactured in accordance with an individual technical specification, in which the manufacturer fully took into account the climatic conditions of Kazakhstan. Engineering solutions developed in line with recommendations from KMG-Aero experts ensure the stable and safe operation of filtration units and fuel supply systems even at extremely low ambient temperatures of up to −45°C.
Following the completion of all required certification and approval procedures by the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, the equipment will commence regular flight servicing and into-plane refuelling operations.
The commissioning of the modern refuelling vehicle will significantly improve ground handling efficiency, resulting in shorter aircraft turnaround times. Such optimization of operational processes is crucial for ensuring uninterrupted airport operations.
Overall, investments in upgrading the material and technical infrastructure create new jobs and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region. Improving the quality of services provided to both Kazakhstani and international airlines will further strengthen KMG-Aero’s position as a reliable and technologically advanced aviation fuel supply operator.
