On February 7–8, Astana hosted the Second Winter Spartakiad of the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies, bringing together around 2,000 participants and supporters. Teams from 20 companies of the Fund took part in the large-scale sporting event, including employees of KazMunayGas – Aero LLP.
As part of the Spartakiad, company representatives participated in a cross-country skiing race held in the capital’s Central Park. In total, approximately 500 participants competed in the skiing events, demonstrating a high level of physical fitness, strong team spirit, and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
The Winter Spartakiad was held in support of Kazakhstani athletes representing the country at the Olympic Games in Italy and became a vivid example of unity and corporate solidarity within the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies.
In addition to the sports program, charity zones were organized at the venue. Participants and guests collected items for families in need, provided assistance to animal shelters, and built birdhouses, which were then installed on trees throughout Central Park.
Sport is an important part of the corporate culture of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund. Over the past three years, with the Fund’s support, 19 sports facilities have been opened across the country, making sports activities accessible to approximately 750,000 people.
The participation of employees of KazMunayGas – Aero LLP in the Winter Spartakiad underscores the company’s commitment to the values of a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, and social responsibility.
