The first flydubai cargo flight operating on the Dubai–Almaty–Dubai route has arrived at Almaty International Airport. The aircraft was refueled by KMG-Aero, a subsidiary of JSC NC KazMunayGas.
The new cargo route connects Almaty, one of Central Asia’s largest aviation hubs, with Dubai, a leading international aviation and logistics center. Flights will operate once a week using Boeing 737 aircraft.
Almaty International Airport provides the infrastructure and ground handling services for the new route, while KMG-Aero provides aviation fuel supply and into-plane refueling services.
KMG-Aero has been cooperating with flydubai since December 2023, providing refueling services for the airline’s passenger flights. As of October 2026, this cooperation has expanded to include cargo operations.
The new route creates additional opportunities for cargo transportation between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates and strengthens Almaty’s role as a key aviation and logistics hub in the region.
This initiative is being implemented in line with the Head of State’s instructions to strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a key Eurasian aviation hub and enhance the country’s transport and logistics potential.
KMG-Aero continues its systematic efforts to expand cooperation with leading international carriers and ensure transparent, stable, and competitive conditions for aviation fuel supply at airports across Kazakhstan.
