Dear colleagues!

According to the data of the United Nations Organization, annually about 1.3 million people die and up to 50 million are injured in road accidents in the world.

Only for 5 months of the current year in our country there were 8 234 road accidents in which 10 910 people were injured and 767 people died. It turns out that in peacetime more than 150 Kazakhstanis die in road accidents every month.

These tragic statistics could have been avoided if motorists had followed the rules of the road and worn their seat belts.

A seat belt helps to preserve life and health in any type of collision:

In a head-on collision, an unbelted passenger has been known to smash their head through the windshield or, worse, fly through it and onto the road. An unbelted driver’s head and chest hit the steering wheel and windshield.

Hitting the windshield or steering wheel can cause concussions or other unpleasant conditions. In the worst, but unfortunately also the most common, cases, death occurs.

In side collisions, the belt protects against impact with side windows and pillars. It also prevents a person from “flying” into another part of the cabin.

It would seem that there is nothing difficult to buckle up. Spending an extra 5 seconds before the trip, you will save your life.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones, fasten your seat belts!
