KazMunayGas’s subsidiary, LLP “KazMunayGas-Aero,” and the Uzbek airline Centrum Air have signed an agreement for into-plane refueling services at Kostanay International Airport.
As part of the agreements reached, the airline is launching regular passenger flights on the Tashkent – Kostanay – Tashkent route with a frequency of once a week. KMG-Aero will provide a full range of aviation fuel supply services for these flights in accordance with international safety and quality standards.
The attraction of a new carrier is the result of joint efforts by KMG-Aero and Kostanay Airport to expand the route network and strengthen the transport links between Kazakhstan’s regions and international destinations.
Similar work is being carried out jointly with Aktobe International Airport to launch Centrum Air flights on the Tashkent – Aktobe – Tashkent route. Currently, the air carrier is preparing to undergo the necessary approval procedures and obtain permits to operate flights to Aktobe Airport.
The implementation of these projects aligns with the tasks set by the Head of State regarding the development of the country’s transport, logistics, and transit potential. The expansion of the presence of international airlines contributes to the growth of passenger traffic, the development of regional airports, the strengthening of business and tourism ties, and the enhancement of Kazakhstan’s investment attractiveness as a key aviation hub in Central Asia.
