KMG’s subsidiary, KazMunayGas-Aero LLP (KMG-Aero), and Uzbekistan-based airline Centrum Air have signed an agreement for into-plane refuelling services at Aktobe International Airport.
Under the agreement, the airline will launch scheduled passenger flights on the Tashkent–Aktobe–Tashkent route, operating twice a week. KMG-Aero will provide a full range of aviation fuel supply and into-plane refuelling services for these flights in compliance with international safety and quality standards.
The launch of the new direct route will make travel between Aktobe and Tashkent more convenient for residents of the region while also creating greater opportunities for business, tourism, and family travel.
The addition of the new carrier is the result of the joint efforts of KMG-Aero and Aktobe International Airport to expand the airport’s route network and increase the number of international destinations.
Overall, the implementation of this project aligns with the objectives set by the Head of State to develop Kazakhstan’s transport, logistics, and transit potential. The expansion of the route network and the attraction of international airlines contribute to the development of regional airports, strengthen economic ties, and enhance Kazakhstan’s investment appeal as a key aviation hub in Central Asia.
