In the period from May to June of this year, the Republican command-staff exercises ‘Өrt-2024’ and ‘Zher-2024’ of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held in all regions. Employees of KazMunaiGas-Aero LLP took part in exercises ‘Өrt-2024’ in Semey and ‘Zher-2024’ in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
This event was organized to improve the level of readiness of management bodies, forces and means of the territorial subsystem of civil protection to act in the event of natural fires, as well as to practice the practical actions of emergency rescue teams in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake.
As part of the exercise, KazMunaiGas-Aero LLP acted as the Single Operator for the supply of oil products. At the end of the event, a full review of the exercise was made, the readiness of emergency rescue teams was assessed, and priority areas for further improvement of the state civil protection system were identified.
