Tashkent hosted the Central Asian Air Cargo Summit, which brought together more than 300 professionals from various sectors: airlines, airports, logistics and financial institutions, as well as other players in the air transport industry. Among the forum participants was KazMunayGas-Aero LLP, which actively represents Kazakhstan’s interests in the international arena in order to expand its operations and develop the country’s transit potential.
The summit included important negotiations with key partners including Air Baltic, Baltic Cargo, Saudia Cargo, Centrum Air, Air Samarkand, Fits Cargo, Tashkent Air and My Way. Discussions focused on the inclusion of Kazakhstan’s airports in the 2025 flight programme, as well as the development of «into plane» service for refuelling at Kazakhstan’s airports.
The participation of KazMunayGas-Aero LLP in the summit confirmed the company’s intention to actively work in the international market and contribute to the development of Kazakhstan’s transit potential, strengthening the country’s position as an important logistics hub in Central Asia.
Also, at the invitation of Saneg, one of the largest oil and gas companies in the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of KazMunayGas-Aero LLP visited the fueling complex at Tashkent airport.
Within the framework of investment projects of KazMunayGas-Aero LLP on development of fuel infrastructure in airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the parties discussed issues of cooperation, design, operation of fuel refuelling complexes, as well as Saneg representatives shared their experience on transition to Jet A-1 aviation fuel.
