This will increase the attractiveness of regional airports for international carriers (by 2030, European airlines are aimed to switch to SAF either totally or partially\/ or Today, all major refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan are ready to produce fuel of the (JET A-1) brand, which meets international standards and is used in many countries around the world. The use of this type of fuel will demand new conditions at the refueling complexes of the airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and will allow the Kazakhstan aviation industry to comply with international standards in the field of safety and quality of services. KazMunayGas will also consider the possibility of producing SAF fuel so that Kazakhstan can be an attractive transit air hub for international carriers, &#8212; said Ildar Shamsutdinov, General Director of KMG-Aero.\n\n&nbsp;\n\nIn 2022, Kazakhstan adopted the Concept for the Development of Transport and Logistics Potential until 2030. An important condition for the development of air transportation is the provision of jet fuel and its competitive price.
