The management of KazMunayGas-Aero LLP took part in the Argus International Conference on Aviation Fuel Supply and the Development of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Market, held in Almaty.
During a dedicated session on the prospects for the development of aviation fuel supply in the region, General director Ildar Shamsutdinov delivered a presentation on current trends in the aviation fuel market and highlighted the company’s contribution to the development of a sustainable fuel infrastructure in Kazakhstan.
A separate panel discussion focused on the introduction of SAF in Kazakhstan. KMG-Aero representative Temirlan Shekimov outlined the company’s strategic approach to advancing this area, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation, technological investment, and regulatory support.
The company showcased its initiatives to create comprehensive solutions for the storage, transportation, and refueling of SAF in line with international standards, aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of the aviation industry.
