The management of KMG-Aero LLP held a working meeting with representatives of the Green Finance Centre (GFC) of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). During the meeting, the parties discussed potential cooperation within the framework of a project for the production and implementation of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of the discussion, possible approaches and mechanisms for the implementation of the project to establish SAF production within the country were considered.
Special attention was paid to the potential of the AIFC Green Finance Centre in attracting sustainable financing and developing specialized financial instruments to support environmentally focused initiatives. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in developing a partnership for the implementation of green investment projects.
