KazMunayGas-Aero LLP will construct a modern petroleum storage facility in the Turkestan region. The total investment is expected to reach up to KZT 7 billion.
The new facility will become a key element of the region’s fuel infrastructure. The oil depot will include a tank farm with a total capacity of 19,000 cubic meters. Of this, 12,000 cubic meters will be allocated for the storage of aviation fuel (TS-1, RT, Jet A-1), as well as gasoline and diesel fuel. The project also предусматривает a dispatch center, laboratory, pipeline and filtration systems, a rail loading and unloading rack, and a truck loading rack.
The launch of the oil depot will ensure a stable supply of aviation fuel to the airport, enhance the region’s energy resilience, and support the development of aviation and logistics infrastructure.
The project is expected to provide an additional boost to passenger and cargo traffic growth, as well as strengthen the position of the Turkestan region as an important transport hub. In addition, up to 50 new jobs will be created.
The project is being implemented in line with the поручения of the Head of State aimed at modernizing infrastructure, developing transport logistics, and increasing the investment attractiveness of the regions.
