April 27, 2023 – employees of KazMunayGas-Aero LLP took part in a session on women’s potential development as part of a visit to Kazakhstan by a delegation from the United States of America under the TechWomen program with the assistance of JSC NC KazMunayGas.
The mission of the visiting delegation was aimed at empowering women, supporting them in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as professional and cultural exchange between countries. The delegation included 50 experts and representatives of leading US technology companies and public institutions, professional development and exchange organizations from Silicon Valley.
The session program included discussion and training on women’s leadership, financial literacy, strategy, sustainable development, as well as ecology, social policy and corporate governance (ESG).
For reference: TechWomen is an initiative of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State (ECA). It is a professional exchange program that supports the advancement of the status of women around the world and helps develop the potential of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Over the past 12 years, more than 1,000 women from 21 countries have taken part in the program.
