“Aviation is a business of freedom. An example of this is the freedom for 2.7 million women and men to develop their exciting careers in this industry. But women are underrepresented at the highest levels and in some professions in airlines.” – Aaron Haslehurst.

“The International Air Transport Association (IATA) launched the 25by2025 initiative (“25 by 2025”). Its goal is to increase the number of women working in leadership positions in aviation, as well as in related areas of the industry, to at least 25% by the end of 2025. I appeal to the male aviation bosses, it’s time to remove the blocks and prejudices. Women are smart, educated and efficient on par with men.” – Fadimato Nutchemo Simo, President of the Young Africain Aviation Professional Association.

“My father taught me that if you do something, do it 100%. I believe that career growth is possible with knowledge, professional skills and constant work, regardless of gender”, Aisha Turebayeva, Director of the Strategy and Investment Portfolio Management Department, NC KazMunayGas JSC.

“The progress of gender equality is on the face. In the 18th century we received the right to higher education, in the middle of the 20th – the right to vote. The patriarchal regime that has been built over thousands of years cannot be changed quickly. But in order to speed up this process, it is necessary that women speak, such sessions are held, and most importantly, this is mutual women’s support” – Independent Director of JSC “Institute for Economic Research” under the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the Presidential Personnel Reserve Asel Sarsenbayeva.

“Women naturally have strong intuition and a sense of empathy. In everyday life, women combine both career and family at the same time. This makes us multi-tasking”, – Aliya Aitaliyeva, Head of Development Department, KMG-Aero.
