As part of the ongoing work on improve the level of safety culture, from October 2 to 16, employees of KazMunayGas-Aero LLP completed a course on first aid for non-medical personnel.
First aid training for victims is the process of obtaining knowledge, skills and abilities by employees that allow them to provide first aid before providing medical assistance to workers in case of industrial accidents, injuries, poisoning and other conditions, and diseases that threaten their life and health.
In the course of the class, the students were told and shown the procedure for finding a person with signs of clinical death, the rules and techniques of artificial respiration and indirect cardiac massage. The participants of the event watched the master class “Assistance in cardiac arrest”. A presentation on “Stopping external bleeding” and “Help in case of trauma” was offered to the attention of the employees, in which the methods and rules of first aid in case of foreign bodies in the upper respiratory tract, thermal and chemical burns, dangerous bleeding were considered.
At the end of the practical training sessions, each participant had the opportunity to personally practice on training simulators on first aid techniques to stop bleeding, emergency care for various types of injuries, removal of foreign bodies from the respiratory tract, to master the techniques of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
